Adventures with dogs, dog training and dog sports (particularly flyball and agility ... well, OK, mostly just flyball and agility!).
I just thought up this same idea for a business for myself the other day for when I have a complete mental breakdown at my current job. It would be a great way to charge more money for dogwalking and I could get a bunch of running in at the same time.I do have a couple issues with the people in that article though. First off, dogs are not substitutes for kids. If one more person refers to my dogs as my children I will scream. Very loudly. Second, why do these people have 'hundreds of rolls of toilet paper' hanging around their house?
... And maybe after one or two they might have learned to shut the bathroom door to keep the dog from eating them?I know what you mean about the "kids" thing--I hate the word "furkids." If I did have kids it certainly wouldn't mean I would no longer need my dogs anymore.
Years ago I remember reading about someone who started renting out Dobes to jog with women so they'd feel safer (the women, I mean, not the Dobes :-). They were rented by the hour, I think. I wonder what happened with that idea...
